ABOUT BOBBY ROBINSON:
Bobby Robinson is an attorney, independent sponsor, and entrepreneur who's built his career at the intersection of law, capital, and entrepreneurship—often as the only person in the room who looks like him.
Whether it was becoming one of the youngest Black partners at an AmLaw 200 law firm, founding and exiting a legal tech startup 18 months after launch, or now building Kirk&Co. Capital to acquire cash-flowing businesses in the home services sector, Bobby's comfortable being the outlier, defying expectations, and changing the game.
Today, Bobby operates across three core areas:
As CEO of Kirk&Co. Capital, he sources, structures, and executes acquisitions of lower-middle-market home services businesses—HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and roofing companies generating $3M+ in EBITDA. With over $750 million in M&A transactions under his belt, Bobby knows how to identify value, negotiate deals, and build portfolios that generate lasting wealth.
As founder of MillieCEO, Bobby teaches entrepreneurs how to scale profitable businesses through education, events, and community. From the MillieCEO Accelerator to VIP Days and digital courses, he's built a platform serving 500+ entrepreneurs annually—helping them move from operator mindset to owner mindset and build businesses that create freedom, not just revenue.
As an attorney and business advisor, Bobby protects what entrepreneurs create. He handles trademark prosecution, contract negotiation, business formation, and entertainment law—working with clients who are serious about building wealth and protecting their intellectual property. His legal practice operates under The Influencer Attorney brand, and he serves as Of Counsel at Maynard Nexsen.
He's also the author of Do This: How to Scale to Your First Million Dollars in Business. Available on Amazon.
One of Bobby's favorite books is Outliers by Malcolm Gladwell—because since he was a kid, he's always considered himself one. He thrives working with clients and organizations that have the same energy: people who aren't waiting for permission, who see opportunity where others see barriers, and who are building legacies, not just businesses.
Bobby earned his law degree from Charlotte School of Law, cum laude, where he was a member of the Moot Court Honor Board, Order of the Crown, and served as Associate Editor of the Intellectual Property and Technology Law Journal and Academic Committee Chair of the Black Law Students Association. He also holds a Master of Public Administration, magna cum laude, from Columbia Southern University and a Master of Business Administration in Finance, cum laude, from Everest University.
